Being a single mother in today''s world is a difficult task. But for Reba Hart, parenthood is taken to another level. With three kids of her own, she still finds herself watching over a son-in-law, granddaughter and an ex-husband and his neurotic wife.

Recently divorced after 20 years of a "happy" marriage, Reba finds herself alone after her husband Brock left her for his newly pregnant dental hygienist, Barbara Jean. And if that wasn''t bad enough, they happen to live just down the street. To top it all off, she finds out that her 17-year-old daughter Cheyenne is pregnant and is marrying her high school football star boyfriend, Van.

Despite a temperamental personality and her sarcastic and wisecracking ways, Reba still manages to bring it all together as a caring and sensible mother and friend.
